So I cannot believe that I have not been posting for so long. Where have I been and what have I been doing? Who cares – there are millions of blogs with millions of readers, and billions of posts. But I know mine is special and not just saying that. I created the headline, “Angels and Demons” and ya know – I think that is all I now see in the world.
The Angels are those who are in it to win it, and have the attitude to make mother earth a wholesome and prosperous place to live, a place where we can one day allow our children to go out and play without the fear that they will not return home. Maybe one day we will get over our racial polarizing fundamentally based mental disorders. Yes, racism is a form of brain damage. Maybe it is a form of sin-damage?
The more I read theology of the Christian faith the more I question it, and then the more I, in the end gravitate to Christ. The more I look at the interesting views of neo-Christian denominations the more I think what an interesting species we are. Obama said it best on the view, and I think he may have been a genius for his double standard. He said that the black race is a mongrel race. Double standard because the world would protest if a white person said it. Moving on…
That triggered something in me. As humans created and ordained to life by the breath of God – we are but all different breeds. What a genius idea and thought.
“From these the nations spread out over the earth Gen. 10:32. In Chap. 11, in the story of Babel we have the origin of the language groups.So the question now is how these three men bred enough to populate the world giving us the white, black, Latin, and Asian breeds or races. Interesting, would concept would be to now call folks “breedists” to think one breed is better than the other. A new word for Webster we may have here. So if three men from the Old Testament populated the world it begs to stop and think how and how long did this take. In and of itself that is enormous in thought.
Ok Mick, here we go. It is possible that we need to think so far out of the box here that our conservative brothers and sisters may banish me to liberalville. Or maybe my liberal brothers and sisters will embrace me for being so far outside the box that I am doom for the conservative right. Not an entirely bad thing… =)
Do our BREEDS start with Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah’s sons? Did the BREEDS begin before that with the dust, and when was that dust breathed into the nostrils of humans? Ok, back to the boys and their daunting task… So, Shem, Ham and Japheth – their sons are Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech and Tiras. The sons of Gomer are Ashkenaz, Riphath and Togarmah. The sons of Javan are Elishah, Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim. But wait there’s more! The sons of Ham are Cush (one of my favorite), Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. The sons of Cush are Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah and Sabteca. The sons of Raamah are Sheba and Dedan. Then there is the best but no where the least, Cush was the father of Nimrod. What a nimrod. How odd that a great warrior would be synonymous with a fool. This goes on and you can see for yourselves how these men continued to have children after being 100+ years old at times, and some lived to be over 500 years old. So, the paradox is halfway unfolded. We know possibly who. Yes sir and ma’am, I am taking Cain, Able and Seth the 1st into consideration since they were the first three. Did the penalty of banishment come with more than just the inability to access the Garden of Eden? Did the offspring of Adam create different generational breeds based on the trouble Cain created when he killed Able? Lots of juicy tid-bits of the story are found in Genesis 4.
In Genesis 4:17 Cain lay with his wife, who had to be his sister or niece. Not many people on the planet at this time, so the inbreeding issues are mute for now. They had Enoch. It immediately says Cain was building a city in v.17 and he named it after his son Enoch. So there must have been others too. Possibilities are Able’s kin folk and Seth was not born yet (possibly). While this is going on, Adam and Eve have Seth. I am sure the possibilities are there for an unrecorded amount of birthing between Eve and her daughters. Over the some 900 years a great number of people could very well be birthed. Once Enoch was of age, he had his family too. Enoch was father to Irad, and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael was the father of Methushael, and Methushael was the father of Lamech. Lamech married two women, one named Adah and the other Zillah. Adah gave birth to Jabal and Jubal. Zillah had Tubal-Cain, his sister was Naamah. Shew, lots of kids! After Seth was born, Adam lived 800 years and had other sons and daughters. Adam lived 930 years.
It is not entirely out of the picture that a third genetic species breed with humans. Genesis 4, “The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” This speculated breed is very interesting, and within reason I suggest you open your mind to its possibilities.
Going deep into the Abyss, so here we have 6 sons, and a whole lot of Bible. Is it possible that the races came from Cain, Able, and Seth 1? Did race not become a distinguishing factor until Shem, Ham and Japheth, Noah’s sons had families and spread out across the earth? In both cases we need to look outside the box in my opinion and maybe rethink who we are as “mongrels”.
By definition, and a few definitions are found here. A mongrel may refer to the offspring of varieties of a species which was in contrast to a hybrid. Among pets, one whose parentage is of unknown or mixed breeds as opposed to purebred. Among humans, mongrel and mongrelize are derogatory terms for the mixing of “races”, known as miscegenation. I wonder why Obama used that term knowing it would hit the air waves. Maybe he wanted to tease Glenn Beck. Moving on; you can agree with me or chalk me up to one of those nuts who take the Bible apart. In either case, we must look past our “mongrel” to see that we are on the verge of the final frontier.
